Pumping Hope

Posted on

Dr. Bruce Clemens recently shared a few pictures with me from the water projects in Guatemala. I thought they were great  because they show the group working together and also alongside the residents of the village that the clean water source will support.

Although there are ground springs that can be found in some places, like in the following picture, many are far away or the water is contaminated due to it’s location.

The next pictures took place during a ceremony after a well was completed.

As you can tell from this next picture (and brilliant smile) the well was a success!

Hope comes in an abundance of forms. For these people in South America, it came pumping through pipes and spilling into their buckets.
